Privacy Policy

We process the data below to run the service, manage your account, and keep your dream journal. Dream content is highly personal; we keep only what the product needs.

• Account details: email address and password (stored only as an irreversible hash).
• Dream content: text you write; for voice entries, the audio file and its transcript.
• Derived data: symbol, emotion, place, and theme tags; lens readings; Connection Seed records; relevance scores and match explanations between dreams.
• Transaction data: daily analysis quota, token balance, subscription and in-app purchase status.

We use this data to generate readings, link dreams, handle sign-in and email verification, and manage your quota. If you optionally watch an ad, the ad network may process a device advertising identifier to measure the impression.

This policy is also the KVKK Art. 10 privacy notice; it is not consent. The notice and explicit consent are kept separate.

• Account, dream journal, sign-in, email verification, and quota: forming and performing the contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c). We do not ask for extra consent for these.
• Sending dream text and audio abroad for readings and transcription: explicit consent. The text is the Explicit Consent Notice; it is collected in a separate checkbox at sign-up.

Selvi relies on third-party infrastructure of the following kinds:

• Anthropic Claude — lens readings and connection analysis.
• OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini-transcribe) — speech-to-text for voice entries.
• Google AdMob — optional, non-personalized ads; dream data is not shared.
• RevenueCat — syncing subscription and purchase status.
• Zoho Mail — verification, password-reset, and data-export emails.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — subscriptions and token packs.
• Hosting and database — account and dream records stored on infrastructure controlled by Ahmet Selman YILDIRIM.

Dream text is sent to Anthropic for the reading and link analysis you requested; audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription. These transfers exist to generate that output and may take place outside Turkey; the legal basis is explicit consent.

Selvi Pro and token packs are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not collect or store card or bank details. Payment is handled under the relevant store’s privacy policy and payment systems.

If the app crashes or errors, we may record limited diagnostic information to fix the issue. This can include device type, OS version, app version, and technical events around the failure. We do not use this data to market to you.

Account and dream data are kept while your account is open so we can provide the journal. When you delete your account, dream texts, audio files, transcripts, readings, seeds, connections, and token balance are permanently removed from the database (not a recoverable soft delete).

Store transaction records may remain in Apple’s or Google’s systems, and for any legal retention duty only as long as required. Backup copies are cleared in the ordinary backup cycle.

Lens readings and connection explanations are generated by AI. Dream text is sent to a third-party language model for that purpose. The generated content is stored with your account and deleted when the account is deleted.

OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar providers may process data outside Turkey and the European Economic Area. The transfer is made to provide the service, is based on your explicit consent, and is also subject to the provider’s own privacy policy.

Under KVKK and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and request portability. You may withdraw consent at any time; that does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal. The international-transfer consent text is the Explicit Consent Notice.

You can permanently delete your account in the app. For requests, write to [email protected] or use the delete-account page.

Selvi is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete the data.

Data is protected with HTTPS/TLS in transit and encryption at rest. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure; we still apply widely accepted safeguards.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be signalled by refreshing the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If processing that relies on consent (such as transfers abroad) changes, we will collect consent again if needed. Reading this page or using the site is not consent.
